Summary:The Department of Commerce contracts with Lewis County through the Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG) to oversee the administration of grant money to subcontractors for services provided to those who are literally homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness in Lewis County.
This contract is between Lewis County Public Health & Social Services and Hope Alliance to provide case management, rapid rehousing, and shelter services for individuals fleeing domestic violence, dating violence, or sexual assault, who are currently experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Resolution
APPROVE CONTRACT #H04-0257-25 BETWEEN HOPE ALLIANCE AND LEWIS COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Contract #H04-0257-25 between Hope Alliance and Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Commerce contracts with Lewis County through the Consolidated Homeless Grant to oversee the administration of grant money to subcontractors for services provided to those who are literally homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness in Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this subcontract is to provide case management, rapid rehousing, and shelter services for individuals fleeing domestic violence, dating violence, or sexual assault, who are currently experiencing or at risk of homelessness; and
WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration of this contract is $61,280.50; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Contract #H04-0257-25 to provide funding up to $61,280.50 for the purpose of subcontracting with Hope Alliance to provide case management, rapid rehousing, and shelter services to eligible persons in Lewis County; and the BOCC authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
