Resolution
ESTABLISH THE RATE OF PAY FOR A NON-UNION EXTRA HELP CIVIL SERVICE SECRETARY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) establishes compensation for employees at Lewis County, including Extra Help (casual) employees; and
WHEREAS, some Extra Help (casual) positions will require pay above the Extra Help pay scale; and
WHEREAS, on July 19, 2022, the BOCC established the rate of pay for the Civil Service Secretary at $26 per hour via Resolution 22-215; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC would like to increase the rate of pay as requested by the Civil Service Secretary and supported by the Civil Service Commission.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Extra Help (casual) Civil Service Secretary be paid an hourly rate of $28 per hour effective Aug. 1, 2025.
