APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH ANTIQUITY CONSULTING, LLC FOR CONSULTING SERVICES RELATED TO THE WINLOCK BROADBAND PROJECT
WHEREAS, Resolution 22-313 approved a grant agreement with the Washington State Broadband Office (WSBO) awarding Lewis County $23.5 million for the installation of fiber optic broadband infrastructure to every parcel within Winlock and the surrounding rural areas; and
WHEREAS, a professional archaeological monitoring plan is required for the project to safeguard any cultural or historic resources that may accidentally be discovered during the installation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approved the original contract on February 28, 2023, and there is a need to amend the contract due to additional monitoring .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners hereby approved the amended professional services contract with Antiquity Consulting, LLC for consulting services related to the Winlock Broadband Project and the County Manager is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
