Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners has reviewed Agreement #2563-63336 between the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, DSHS contracts with Lewis County to administer funding for developmental disabilities services, including supported employment, community inclusion, child development services, county administration, training, and community education activities; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026; and

WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration for this contract is $973,988; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Agreement #2563-63336 to provide funding up to $973,988 for the purpose of supporting developmental disabilities services; and authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
