Resolution
APPROVING ISSUANCE OF REQUEST FOR PROJECTS (RFP) FOR HOUSING HOMELESS SERVICES TO AWARD DOCUMENT RECORDING FEES (2163) AND CONSOLIDATED HOMELESS GRANT (CHG) FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has approved issuing an RFP for housing homeless services provided to persons/families who reside in Lewis County who are homeless or at risk of homelessness; and
WHEREAS, the RFP will utilize Document Recording Fees (2163) up to $420,000 and Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG) funds up to $545,932; and
WHEREAS, approved projects will begin July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to approve the issuance of an RFP.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC of Lewis County authorizes staff to issue an RFP for Housing Homeless Services to award document recording fees and Consolidated Homeless Grant funds.
