RATIFY A CONTRACT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR LED LIGHTING UPGRADES AT THE LAW AND JUSTICE CENTER
WHEREAS, Lewis County is undertaking a project to upgrade existing lighting systems to energy-efficient LED fixtures at the Law and Justice Center located at 345 W. Main Street in Chehalis, Washington; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Commerce has awarded Lewis County a grant in the amount of $545,839 through Contract No. 25-92701-035, to support the completion of this work; and
WHEREAS, the proposed upgrades will improve energy efficiency, reduce long-term maintenance needs and contribute to improved facility performance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Contract No. 25-92701-035 with the Washington State Department of Commerce providing Lewis County grant funding totaling $545,839 is hereby ratified by the Board of County Commissioners.
