WHEREAS, Lewis County is the recipient of Grant No. FY22-90006-001, through the Department of Archeology and Historic Preservation; and

WHEREAS, the Legislature has re-appropriated funding for the 2021-2023 grant cycle in the 2025 Capital Budget, allowing for an extension of the grant period; and

WHEREAS, an Amendment C to this Grant has been prepared to extend the grant period for a period of one year until June 30, 2026, and staff recommends that the County approve this extension.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners approves this contract amendment and authorizes the Chair - or, in his absence, the Vice Chair - to sign said amendment on behalf of the Board.
