Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance with WAC 136-161-070 (1)(b), the County Road Administration Board (CRAB) desires to amend the original Rural Arterial Program (RAP) Project Agreement for Construction Proposal contract and authorize additional Rural Arterial Trust Account Funds (RATA) for the Bunker Creek Road 3R Construction Project – CRP 2209; and

WHEREAS, the additional authorized RATA funding is increased to $1,550,000; and

WHEREAS, the Public Works Director/County Engineer has reviewed Amendment No. 2 to the RAP Project Agreement for Construction Proposal contract between Lewis County and CRAB, and recommends that the BOCC approve Amendment No. 2 to the RAP Project Agreement for Construction Proposal contract that provides Lewis County with $1,550,000 RATA funding for the Bunker Creek Road 3R Construction Project – CRP 2209.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC has determined proceeding with Amendment No. 2 to the RAP Project Agreement for Construction Proposal contract between Lewis County and CRAB is in the best public interest, hereby approves it, and authorizes the BOCC Chair, or Vice Chair in his absence, to sign the same; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the signature for Amendment No. 2 is obtained by CRAB via e-signature. After approval of this resolution, Public Works will notify CRAB. CRAB will then email the BOCC Chair, or Vice Chair in his absence, the final document for e-signature.
