Summary:

Approving an Amendment to the Agreement between Lewis County and the Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) for MF Newaukum Trib Barrier Removal Site 1301E18A (Kruger Road MP 1.2). The amendment will increase the project funding from $68,200 to $107,073.

Approval of this resolution authorizes the Chair of the BOCC to sign Amendment #1 between Lewis County and the RCO and approves the cost change.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Public Works has listed fish passage restoration projects on the maintenance program; and

WHEREAS, Public Works has received grant funding administered through the RCO for the MF Newaukum Trib Barrier Removal Site 1301E18A (Kruger Road MP 1.20), RCO #19-1559P, CMP 1904; and

WHEREAS, an Amendment is necessary to increase the project agreement from $68,200 to $107,073.00; and

WHEREAS, the conditions of receiving the grant funding require an Agreement signed by the BOCC Chair; and

WHEREAS, the Public Works County Engineer has reviewed the Amendment between Lewis County and the RCO.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC has determined that proceeding with the Amendment for the MF Newaukum Trib Barrier Removal Site 1301E18A (Kruger Road MP 1.2), RCO #19-1559P, CMP 1904, is in the best public interest and hereby approves the Chair of the BOCC to sign.
