Resolution
APPROVE CONTRACT #T03-0234-25 BETWEEN THURSTON COUNTY AND LEWIS COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Contract #T03-0234-25 between Thurston County and Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County oversees the administration of funds from the Department of Health Maternal and Child Health Block Grant as well as local mental health tax monies to provide services and support eligible individuals and families in Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, this subcontract provides funding for Thurston County Public Health & Social Services to provide home visiting services through the Nurse Family Partnership program to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, the contract duration is January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration of this contract is $287,626.16; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Contract #T03-0234-25 to provide funding up to $287,626.16 for the purpose of contracting with Thurston County to offer Nurse Family Partnership home visiting services; and the BOCC authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
