WHEREAS, the lnterlocal Agreement between the City of Chehalis and Lewis County requires the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve preliminary and final plats within the unincorporated urban growth area (UGA) associated with the City of Chehalis; and

WHEREAS, the City of Chehalis Hearing Examiner granted approval of the preliminary plat with conditions on September 6, 2021, as listed in Exhibit A 2021-09-06 HE Decision; and

WHEREAS, the City of Chehalis transmitted the final plat, LP24-00003, for BOCC approval on April 22, 2025; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 58.17.170, if the submittal meets the terms of the preliminary plat and conforms to state law and local codes, final approval must be granted; and

WHEREAS, the Lewis County departments of Public Health & Social Services, Public Works and Community Development have confirmed that the final plat meets the County conditions of preliminary plat approval.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners approves the final plat for the Evergreen Grove subdivision, Exhibit B, and incorporates this resolution as findings of fact and conclusion to support the decision; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Chair of the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners is hereby authorized to sign the final plat survey.
