Summary:

Lewis County plans to complete a bridge scour project at King Road MP 12.26. It will be necessary to close King Road to all through traffic during this period. King Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not beyond the point of closure at MP 12.26. This resolution would, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, close King Road between Boistfort Road and Lake Creek Road in Section 31, Township 13 North, Range 3 West, W.M., beginning July 1, 2025 and ending October 30, 2025.

Resolution

WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads for a period of time; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary for Lewis County to complete a bridge scour project on King Road at MP 12.26; and

WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close King Road between Boistfort Road and Lake Creek Road to all through traffic during the period of such work; and

WHEREAS, King Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not beyond the point of closure at MP 12.26, and other county roads are available for detour.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, beginning July 1, 2025, and ending October 30, 2025, King Road between Boistfort Road and Lake Creek Road in Section 31, Township 13 North, Range 3 West, W.M., shall be closed to all through traffic.
