Resolution

WHEREAS, from time to time, Lewis County has vehicles and equipment that are no longer needed within the County's operations; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30, Management and Disposition of Property requires the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to declare such property surplus prior to disposal under said Code; and

WHEREAS, the listing of property attached as Exhibit A has been recommended as surplus to the County's needs by the Public Works Fleet Division; and

WHEREAS, the City of Chehalis is interested in purchasing one chemical spray truck listed in Exhibit A for fair market value of $20,000.00.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the asset items listed in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein have been declared surplus by the BOCC; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Fleet Division is authorized to sell the chemical spray truck to the City of Chehalis in the amount of $20,000.00, and to dispose of the remaining listed items with an estimated value of less than $5,000.00 in compliance with Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30.
