Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 25-015, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) issued a call for bids for the purchase of four new pickup trucks; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations (per vehicle) have been submitted by contractors as follows:

Shelton CDJR                            Shelton, Wash.                                         $39,593.87

I-5 Dodge                                 Chehalis, Wash.                                        $41,591.31; and

WHEREAS, Shelton CDJR provided the lowest responsive bid quote of $39,593.87 per vehicle.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a contract for the purchase of four pickup trucks shall be awarded to Shelton CDJR in Shelton, Washington, in the amount of $158,375.48.  Upon presentation of a contract acceptable to the BOCC, the Director of Public Works (or his designee) is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
