Resolution

WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Division of the Lewis County Public Works Department has determined that four pickup trucks in the fleet are in need of replacement; and

WHEREAS, these four pickup trucks will be 2025 replacements for Lewis County Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to issue a Call for Bid for up to four new pickup trucks.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Works Department is instructed to prepare a call for bid specifications for up to four new pickup trucks.

Lewis County Public Works is accepting electronic bid submissions. Bids can be completed and submitted at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lewiscountywa by or before 12:15 p.m. on January 29, 2025.  Or, sealed bids can be delivered by January 29, 2025, before 12:15 p.m., to the Lewis County Courthouse, 2nd Floor, 351 NW North Street, Chehalis, WA 98532.  The above are the only acceptable methods to submit bids.  All bids will be opened at or after 12:15 p.m. on January 29, 2025.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BOCC Clerk of Board is instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications to advertise for said purpose.
