ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE EE2024 GRANT TO FUND THE JAIL LED UPGRADE PROJECT
WHEREAS, Lewis County applied for grant funding for the Jail LED Upgrade Project though the Washington State Department of Commerce's Energy Efficiency 2024 Grant Program and was selected to receive $571,200.00 from that request; and
WHEREAS, the award letter is enroute to the County, specifically Commissioner Scott Brummer for signature and the deadline to sign and return by November 15, 2024.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Lewis County accept the grant funding from the Washington State Department of Commerce; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that BOCC Chair Scott Brummer is authorized to sign the award letter and that Capital Facilities Manager Doug Carey is authorized to sign following contract on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
