Summary:

This resolution will approve a contract supplemental agreement that cumulatively increases a contract's maximum amount payable by $300,000, thus bringing the maximum amount payable for the Annual Hydrologic, Hydraulic, and Geomorphic agreement, AHHG2024 with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants to $650,000.00.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 24-363, subsequent change orders or amendments to procurement contracts, originally approved by a Director, must receive BOCC approval via resolution before entering into agreements that exceed $350,000 or increase the cumulative total to more than $350,000; and

WHEREAS, approval of Supplemental Agreement Number 1 is needed to increase the AHHHG2024 maximum amount payable by $300,000.00, to a new maximum amount payable of $650,000.00, to accommodate a Task Order for Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analyses and Design for the Independence Road Slide Repair, potential task orders for future emergency bank stabilizations, and extend the agreement completion date to February 28, 2026.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Supplemental Agreement Number 1 to Agreement AHHG2024 with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants is approved, bringing the total value of AHHG2024 to $650,000.00, and the county engineer is hereby authorized to sign the same.
