Resolution
ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FAIRS PROGRAM, CAPITAL PROJECT GRANT TOWARD A REMODEL OF THE MAIN RESTROOMS ON THE SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON FAIRGROUNDS
WHEREAS, Lewis County has been awarded a grant toward remodeling the main restrooms on the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Agriculture Fairs Programs, Capital Projects Grant has awarded a grant for $40,500 to assist Lewis County with this project; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said Resolution to accept this grant funding.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) agrees to accept the offer in the amount of $40,500 from the Department of Agriculture; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOCC authorizes the Chief of Internal Services to sign on its behalf.
