Summary:

The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Developmental Disabilities Administration contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of grant money for services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in Lewis County.

This subcontract provides funding for Morningside to provide Supported Employment & Job Foundation services.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Contract #M01-0224-24 between Morningside and Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of grant money for services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of this subcontract is to provide funding for Morningside to provide Supported Employment & Job Foundation services; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025; and

WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration of this contract is $555,000; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Contract #M01-0224-24 to provide funding up to $555,000 for the purpose of subcontracting with Morningside to provide Supported Employment & Job Foundation services; and the BOCC authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
