Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County Department of Public Works has successfully obtained funding in the amount of $89,120.00 which requires a contract to be executed with Tacoma Power for the Cowlitz River Public Access Point Project, Alta Drive MP .045 to .055, Packwood; and

WHEREAS, the County Engineer has reviewed the Agreement and recommends that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) authorize the execution of the agreement with Tacoma Power.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC has determined the grant agreement in the amount of $89,120.00 for the Cowlitz River Public Access Point Project, Alta Drive MP .045 to .055, Packwood, is in the best public interest and the Chair is hereby authorized to sign the same on behalf of the BOCC.
