Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) created the East Lewis County Public Development Authority (ELCPDA) via Ordinance 1149 on May 20, 1996; and

WHEREAS, the ELCPDA passed Resolution 001-24 on October 8, 2024, requesting that the BOCC expand membership on its Board of Directors from five to seven members; and

WHEREAS, Packwood residents Rob Maricle and Ann Harrington have expressed an interest in and a willingness to serve on the ELCPDA; and

WHEREAS, members of the ELCPDA serve staggered three-year terms; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to expand the ELCPDA Board of Directors from five members to seven and to appoint Rob Maricle and Ann Harrington to said board.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the BOCC hereby expands the ELCPDA Board of Directors to a seven-member board; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the BOCC hereby appoints Rob Maricle and Ann Harrington to the ELCPDA Board of Directors to serve three-years term ending April 1, 2027.
