Resolution

WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Division of the Lewis County Public Works Department has determined that six pursuit-rated vehicles in the fleet are in need of replacement; and

WHEREAS, these six pursuit-rated vehicles will be 2025 replacements for the Lewis County Sheriff's Office; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to issue a Call for Bid for up to six new pursuit-rated SUV vehicles.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Works Department is instructed to prepare a call for bid specifications for up to six new pursuit-rated SUVs.

Lewis County Public Works is accepting electronic bid submissions. Bids can be completed and submitted at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lewiscountywa by or before 12:15 p.m. on August 21, 2024, and will be opened at or after 12:15 p.m. on August 21, 2024; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BOCC Clerk of Board is instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications to advertise for said purpose.
