Resolution

WHEREAS, on occasion Lewis County has real property that is no longer needed to support the county's operations; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30, Management and Disposition of Property requires the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) declare such property surplus to disposal under said code; and

WHEREAS, the real property located at 951 State Route 508 in unincorporated Lewis County, Parcel #017188003000 - partial legal description: a portion of the SE1/4 of the SE1/4, Section 28, Township 13N, Range 1W, W.M. - has been recommended as surplus to the county's needs now and in the foreseeable future by the Public Works Director and the County Manager.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the real property identified above in unincorporated Lewis County is declared surplus; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Department is authorized to dispose of the above property in compliance with Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30, by listing said property for sale with a broker who deals in that kind of property and who has licenses required by law, LCC 3.30.390(3).
