WHEREAS, Lewis County established a petty cash fund in the amount of $200 for Community Development Fund No. 1210 via Resolution No. 98-540 to provide change for permit fee payments; and

WHEREAS, Community Development has experienced a need for additional petty cash due to an increase in cash drawers at the new Community Development location and segregation of cash handling duties; and

WHEREAS, Community Development requests to add $200 to be assigned to Community Development Permit Center.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners rescinds and replaces Resolution 98-540, hereby authorizing the increase of $200 in petty cash for Community Development; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Community Development petty cash fund will be increased to a total of $400 and the additional cash will be requested from the Lewis County Treasurer’s Office.
