This resolution will approve a Grant Agreement between the State of Washington Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB) and the Recreation and Conservation Office through the Lewis County Public Works for the Berwick Creek at Labree Fish Passage construction project, CMP 2001, in the amount of $257,955.00.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Public Works has listed fish passage restoration projects on the maintenance program; and

WHEREAS, Public Works has been awarded grant funding by the State of Washington Salmon Recovery Funding Board and athe Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) for the Berwick Creek at Labree Fish Passage construction project, CMP 2001, in the amount of $257,955.00; and

WHEREAS, the conditions of receiving the grant funding requires an agreement signed by the Chair of the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC); and

WHEREAS, the Public Works Director and County Engineer have reviewed the grant agreement #22-1134 between Lewis County and RCO.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the BOCC has determined the Berwick Creek at Labree Fish Passage construction project, CMP 2001, RCO #22-1134, in the amount of $257,955.00 is in the best public interest and hereby approves the Chair of the BOCC to sign the agreement.
