Summary:

A call for bids for the South Lewis County Airport - Phase 2 Improvements-Site Preparation was made on May 23, 2024. The project was advertised in the Chronicle, the Daily Journal of Commerce, OMWBE web site, and OpenGov. Public Works received two bids for this project on June 13, 2024. 

Public Works recommends awarding this project to the lowest responsive bidder, Rognlin's, Inc., Aberdeen, WA.

Resolution

WHEREAS, a call for bids was issued May 23, 2024, for the South Lewis County Airport - Phase 2 Improvements-Site Preparation project; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted from the contractors as follows:

 ; and

WHEREAS, Rognlin's Inc. provided the lowest responsive bid quote of $494,135.80 for the South Lewis County Airport - Phase 2 Improvements-Site Preparation project.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the South Lewis County Airport - Phase 2 Improvements-Site Preparation project, shall be awarded to Rognlin's Inc. in the amount of $494,135.80. Upon approval and presentation of such a contract, the Public Works Director is authorized to sign on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC).
