WHEREAS, Lewis County issued a Request for Proposals for the Lewis County Security System Design and Installation for the new Community Development and Information Services building on April 23rd, 2024, based upon specifications developed by Lewis County IT; and

WHEREAS, the evaluation process used competitive negotiation as outlined in RCW 39.04.270; and

WHEREAS, proposals were received on May 17th, 2024, and read aloud on May 28th, 2024, in a public meeting, and the responses were as follows:

WHEREAS, considering cost and other factors, it appears Access Security of Centralia, Wash., is the most advantageous solution and in the best interest of Lewis County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hereby approves the proposal with Access Security for $28,580.51, plus applicable taxes, for the Lewis County Security System Design and Installation for the new Community Development and Information Services building.  Upon presentation of an acceptable contract, the Information Technology Director is authorized to sign on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners..
