WHEREAS, from time to time, Lewis County has the personal property that is no longer needed within the County's operations; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30, Management and Disposition of Property requires that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) declare such property surplus prior to disposal under said code, Declared items have an individual value of less than $5,000. All other provisions of LCC for higher value items do not apply; and

WHEREAS, the listing of property attached as Exhibit A has been recommended as surplus to the County's needs now, and in the foreseeable future, by the Facilities Administrator.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the personal property listed in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein has been declared surplus by the BOCC; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Facilities Administrator is authorized to dispose of the listed items in compliance with Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30.
