Due to restructuring in the County Josh Metcalf was chosen to be the Director of the Emergency Management Department. This resolution will appoint Josh Metcalf as Director of Emergency Management.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has recognized it is in the best interest of Lewis County to undergo an organizational change; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC has created a Division of Emergency Management pursuant to RCW 38.52.070; and

WHEREAS, WAC 118-30-151(5)(6)(7) requires Emergency Management to be administered by a Director of Emergency Management who shall be appointed by and directly responsible to the executive head of the political subdivision; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to County Code 3.02.030, the BOCC is authorized to appoint an individual as the Director of Emergency Management.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the BOCC appoints Josh Metcalf to the position of Director of Emergency Management.
