APPROVE A PERSONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LEWIS COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH (A.K.A. VALLEY VIEW HEALTH CENTER) FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES RELATED TO THE LEWIS COUNTY HOMELESS SHELTER'S CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, Lewis County is in need of project management services for the construction phase of establishing a night-by-night homeless shelter at 2015 NE Kresky Ave. in Chehalis; and
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners has reviewed an agreement between Lewis County and Lewis County Community Health Services (a.k.a. Valley View Health Center) for providing personal services assisting the County in this regard; and
WHEREAS, a scope of work is included in the agreement as Appendix A and compensation for the services is included in that scope of work; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the contract and scope of work, and it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of the Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the Agreement and authorizes the County Manager to sign it on behalf of Lewis County.
