Summary:

Lewis County Public Health and Social Services oversees the administration of funds from the Department of Health Maternal and Child Health Block Grant as well as local mental health tax monies to provide services and supports to eligible individuals and families in Lewis County.

This agreement between Thurston County and Lewis County Public Health and Social Services provides funding for the purpose of providing Nurse Family Partnership home visiting services to eligible families who reside in Lewis County.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Contract #T03-0213-23 between Thurston County and Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County oversees the administration of funds from the Department of Health Maternal and Child Health Block Grant as well as local mental health tax monies to provide services and supports to eligible individuals and families in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of this agreement is to provide funding for Thurston County to provide Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) home visiting services to eligible families who reside in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024; and

WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration of this contract is $296,881; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Contract #T03-0213-23 to provide funding up to $296,881 for the purpose of contracting with Thurston County to offer Nurse Family Partnership home visiting services; and the BOCC authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
