Resolution
REAPPOINT BRIAN THOMPSON AND GARY GORREMANS TO THE LEWIS COUNTY NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL BOARD
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) that there are two expirations of terms on the Lewis County Noxious Weed Board, in Weed Districts Two and Three; and
WHEREAS, the term of Brian Thompson of Centralia (District Two), and Gary Gorremans of Winlock (District Three) expired on March 1, 2024, and said members have indicated a desire to continue to serve on said Board; and
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Noxious Weed Board conducted the notice and application process outlined under RCW 17.10.050(2), and recommends these applicants be reappointed to the Board.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners hereby reappoints Brian Thompson (District Two) and Gary Gorremans (District Three) to the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board for a term of four years ending on May 31, 2028.
