Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 23-233, Directors, Administrators, or designee may sign procurement contracts, amendments, and change orders that total or create a cumulative project total of $50,000 to $350,000, provided that the contract or amendment is approved by the BOCC via resolution; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County desires to accomplish Annual Geotechnical Engineering Services for upcoming public works projects. This may include, but is not limited to, providing geotechnical evaluation and design of roadways, bridges, facilities, emergency response, slide investigations and a variety of other work in all phases from concept and location through design and construction; and

WHEREAS, Agreement No. GEO2024 was made and entered on April 2, 2024, between Lewis County Public Works, hereinafter called the "Agency," and Delve Underground of this agreement, hereinafter called the "Consultant," in the amount of $200,000; and

WHEREAS, the Consultant represents that they comply with the Washington State Statutes relating to professional registration, if applicable, and has signified a willingness to furnish consulting services to the Agency.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the consultant agreement No. GEO2024, previously executed by the Public Works Director, is hereby ratified by the Board of County Commissioners.
