APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE RURAL ARTERIAL PROGRAM PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION PROPOSAL BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY AND THE COUNTY ROAD ADMINISTRATION BOARD FOR THE CENTRALIA ALPHA ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT – CRP 2084
WHEREAS, in accordance with WAC 136-161-070 (1)(b), the County Road Administration Board (CRAB) desires to amend the original Rural Arterial Program (RAP) Project Agreement for Construction Proposal contract and authorize additional Rural Arterial Trust Account Funds (RATA) for the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements project – CRP 2084; and
WHEREAS, the additional authorized RATA funding is $244,400, with the remaining project costs above this amount paid by previous RATA allocations, Lewis County, and federal-aid from the Surface Transportation Program (STP); and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director and County Engineer have reviewed Amendment No. 4 to the RAP Project Agreement for Construction Proposal contract between Lewis County and CRAB, and recommends that the BOCC approve Amendment No. 4 to the RAP Project Agreement for Construction Proposal contract that provides Lewis County with $244,400 of RATA funding for the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements project – CRP 2084.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC has determined proceeding with Amendment No. 4 to the RAP Project Agreement for Construction Proposal contract between Lewis County and CRAB is in the best public interest, hereby approves it, and authorizes the BOCC Chair, or Vice Chair in their absence, to sign the same.
