This resolution will ratify a contract amendment that cumulatively increases a contract's maximum amount payable by $179,689.00, thus bringing the maximum amount payable for the Packwood Sewer System Project consultant agreement with HDR to $4,166,728.00.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 23-233, subsequent change orders or amendments to procurement contracts, originally approved by a Director, must receive BOCC approval via resolution before entering into agreements that exceed $350,000 or increase the cumulative total to more than $350,000; and

WHEREAS, approval of Amendment No. 1 is needed to increase the Packwood Sewer System project maximum amount payable by $179,689.00, to a new maximum amount payable of $4,166,728.00, to provide additional Environmental Site Assessment support to Lewis County for the Packwood Sewer System project as stated in Subtask 604.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Amendment No. 1 to the Packwood Sewer System agreement with HDR is ratified, bringing the total value to $4,166,728.00, and the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to sign the same.
