Public Works received 3 bids for this project on December 17, 2019. T-Jags Trucking provided the lowest responsive bid of $20,211.76. Public Works staff recommends acceptance of the low bid provided by T-Jags Trucking, Chehalis, WA.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 19-349, a call for bids was issued on December 2, 2019 for the 2020-2023 Debris Removal Project, County Project No. SW-CTS 20-23; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted from contractors as follows:

WHEREAS, T-Jags Trucking provided the lowest responsive bid quote of $20,211.76 for the 2020-2023 Debris Removal Project, County Project No. SW-CTS 20-23.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the 2020-2023 Debris Removal Project, County Project No. SW-CTS 20-23, in Lewis County shall be awarded to T-Jags Trucking in the amount of $20,211.76 upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
