DECLARATION OF SURPLUS VEHICLES
WHEREAS, from time to time, Lewis County has vehicles that are no longer needed; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30 Management and Disposition of Property, requires the Board of County Commissioners to declare such property surplus prior to disposal under said code; and
WHEREAS, the listing of property attached in Exhibit A, with each item included therein having an estimated market value of less than $5,000, has been recommended as surplus and no longer needed for county uses.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the asset items listed in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein have been declared surplus by the BOCC and each item has an estimated market value of less than $5,000; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lewis County Parks & Recreation Administrator, as designee of the Lewis County Facilities Division Manager, is authorized to dispose of the listed items in compliance with County Code, Chapter 3.30.
