Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance of RCW 39.04.155, a call for bids for the Lewis County 2024 Rock Proposal in Lewis County was made on February 08, 2024; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted on February 29, 2024, from contractors and hauling costs calculated as follows:

WHEREAS, Lewis County personnel evaluated the bids, including hauling costs and taxes, to determine the most advantageous bid to Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, Sterling Breen Crushing Inc. provided the most advantageous and responsive bid quote of $361,992.40, including taxes, for the Lewis County 2024 Rock Proposal.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Lewis County 2024 Rock Proposal in Lewis County shall be awarded to Sterling Breen Crushing Inc. in the amount of $361,992.40, including taxes, upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
