Summary:

This resolution will ratify a consultant contract with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants, Inc. to provide annual hydrologic, hydraulic, and geomorphic services for various projects within Lewis County. The total amount authorized is $350,000.

Resolution

WHEREAS, a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was published in The Chronicle on December 5, 2023, and December 12, 2023, for annual hydrologic, hydraulic, and geomorphic services for projects including Rural Arterial Program (RAP) funded projects, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funded projects, US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded projects, and Lewis County Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) projects; and

WHEREAS, four (4) proposals were received and the qualifications were reviewed and evaluated by Public Works; and

WHEREAS, Northwest Hydraulic Consultants Inc. has been selected as the most qualified consultant for the 2024 annual hydrologic, hydraulic and geomorphic services contract; and

WHEREAS, the contract will authorize maximum amount payable of $350,000 for professional services.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) ratifies the contract with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants Inc., Agreement No. AHHG2024, signed by the Public Works Director.
