Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.77.070, for any county road construction to be performed by County Forces where the estimated cost of the work exceeds $10,000, notice thereof together with a brief description of the work and the county road engineer's estimate of the cost thereof must be published in one issue of a newspaper of general circulation in the county prior to construction; and

WHEREAS, the Lewis County 2024-2029 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program and 2024 Annual Construction Program adopted via Resolution 23-370 on November 21, 2023, lists portions of 2024 construction projects to be constructed by County Forces; and

WHEREAS, attached as Exhibit A are the County Forces project funds for road construction where the estimated cost of the County Forces work exceeds $10,000 and a brief description of the work and the county road engineer's estimate of the cost thereof for each item.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the County Forces project funds, listed in Exhibit A, are to be expended in the calendar year 2024, for the estimated costs shown and notice thereof is hereby to be published in compliance with RCW 36.77.070. Costs shown do not include engineering, right of way expenses, or County Forces projects less than $10,000 (ten thousand dollars).
