Summary:

A call for bids for the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements, 10-2084, STPR-H210(008), was made on November 16, 2023. Public Works received seven bids for this project on November 16, 2023. Active Construction, Inc., Tacoma, WA, provided the lowest responsive bid of $6,274,753.00.

Lewis County Public Works recommends that the contract for the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements, 10-2084, STPR-H210(008), be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, Active Construction, Inc.

Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance of RCW 39.04.155, a call for bids for the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements, 10-2084, STPR-H210(008), in Lewis County was made on November 16, 2023; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations were submitted on November 16, 2023, from contractors and calculated as follows:

WHEREAS, Active Construction, Inc. provided the lowest responsive bid quote of $6,274,753.00 for the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements, 10-2084, STPR-H210(008).

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements, 10-2084, STPR-H210(008) in Lewis County shall be awarded to Active Construction, Inc. in the amount of $6,274,753.00, upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
