Resolution

WHEREAS, RCW 36.29.020 and  RCW 36.29.022 authorize the County Treasurer to invest funds not required for immediate expenditures and the combining of moneys upon the request of one or several units of local government for purposes of investments; and under RCW 36.29.024 authorizing the County Treasurer to deduct investment expenses necessary to reimburse the Treasurer’s office for the actual administrative costs of establishing and maintaining a county investment pool; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the County, agencies, and special purpose districts investing in the pool to create a separate fund for investment service fee receipts and disbursements.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Treasurer’s Investment Pool Maintenance Fund No. 1110 is hereby established to properly account for the fees collected from and the expenses incurred through the administration of investment activities on behalf of pool participants.
