Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Contract #K7096 between the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) and Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) contracts with Lewis County to administer Criminal Justice Treatment Account (CJTA) funds; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of this funding is to provide treatment and recovery support services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system in accordance with RCW 71.24.580; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025; and

WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration for this contract is $256,330; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Contract #K7096 to provide funding up to $256,330 for the purpose of administering CJTA funds to provide treatment and recovery support services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system; and authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
