THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF ADDITIONAL RIGHT OF WAY FOR LUCAS CREEK ROAD AT MP 4.24 AND 4.39
WHEREAS, replacement of two culverts is necessary on Lucas Creek Road at MP 4.24 and 4.39; and
WHEREAS, the replacement of the culverts will require additional right of way from one adjacent landowner; and
WHEREAS, this project is priority number 2 within the adopted and amended 2023-2028 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, this project is a necessary improvement and will benefit the public; and
WHEREAS, this resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire additional road right of way as shown on the attached Exhibit from one landowner along Lucas Creek Road for the project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County Engineer is instructed to acquire all necessary right of way and is authorized to sign documents necessary for this culvert replacement project on Lucas Creek Road in Section 32, Township 14N, Range 3 West, W.M., and directs that all such acquisitions be in accordance with adopted procedures as per Resolution 20-149.
