Resolution

WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Division of the Lewis County Public Works Department has determined that two chemical spray trucks in the fleet are in need of replacement; and

WHEREAS, these two chemical spray trucks have been scheduled and budgeted for replacement in 2024 and will be purchased with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funds; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to issue a call for bids for two new chemical spray truck chassis for the Public Works Road division.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Works Department is instructed to prepare a call for bids and contract specifications for two new chemical spray truck chassis.

Lewis County Public Works is accepting electronic bid submissions. Bids can be completed and submitted at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lewiscountywa by or before 12:30 p.m. on September 28, 2023, and will be opened at or after 12:30 p.m. on September 28, 2023.
