Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance of RCW 39.04.155, a Call for Bids was made on July 20, 2023, and was sent to all companies on the Small Works Roster in the rock crushing and snow and ice control categories while also being legally advertised in The Chronicle; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations for the material and sales tax have been submitted on August 10, 2023, from contractors as follows:

The contract amount awarded will be for material and sales tax only. Hauling costs will be incurred by Lewis County and are calculated to determine the lowest overall cost alternative separate from the bid proposal; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County personnel evaluated the bids, including hauling costs and taxes, to determine the most advantageous bid to Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, Good Crushing Inc. provided the most advantageous and responsive bid quote of $174,097.00, including taxes, for the Lewis County 2023 Snow Sand Proposal.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Lewis County 2023 Snow Sand Proposal in Lewis County shall be awarded to Good Crushing Inc. in the amount of $174,097.00, including taxes. Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
