Summary:

Lewis County oversees the administration of funds from the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration as well as local Millage funds that are set aside to provide services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This subcontract provides funding for Reliable Enterprises to provide Child Development Services, community outreach, recreation, and health and fitness education for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Contract #R01-0191-23 between Reliable Enterprises and Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County oversees the administration of funds from the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration as well as local Millage funds that are set aside to provide services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of this subcontract is to provide funding for Reliable Enterprises to provide Child Development Services, community outreach, recreation, and health and fitness education for individuals with developmental disabilities; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024; and

WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration of this contract is $113,026; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Contract #R01-0191-23 to provide funding up to $113,026 for the purpose of subcontracting with Reliable Enterprises to provide Child Development Services, community outreach, recreation, and health and fitness education for individuals with developmental disabilities; and authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
