Summary:

Lewis County Public Health and Social Services oversees the administration of local document and recording fees to contractors for services provided to those who are literally homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness in Lewis County. These services are part of the five-year housing and homeless strategic plan to reduce the number of unhoused persons in Lewis County.

This contract provides funding for Reliable Enterprises to provide case management services to those persons residing in Reliable Enterprises properties within Lewis County.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Contract #R01-0200-23 between Reliable Enterprises and Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Public Health and Social Services oversees the administration of local document and recording fees to contractors for services provided to those who are literally homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, these services are part of the five-year housing and homeless strategic plan to reduce the number of unhoused persons in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of this contract is to provide case management services to those persons residing in Reliable Enterprises properties within Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024; and

WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration of this contract is $135,784; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Contract #R01-0200-23 to provide funding up to $135,784 for the purpose of contracting with Reliable Enterprises to provide case management services to those persons residing in Reliable Enterprises properties within Lewis County; and authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
