WHEREAS, Lewis County's County Campus Improvement Project includes the Community Development Project, which involves floor work; and

WHEREAS, the county solicited bids for a floor grind-and-polish project from four vendors that specialize in concrete grinding and polishing; and

WHEREAS, of the four bids received, only the following vendor submitted a qualified bid that meets the county's criteria:

WHEREAS, it appears that Diamond Polishing Systems has submitted the lowest responsible bid, and county staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) award the contract to Diamond Polishing Systems.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the BOCC awards the floor grind-and-polish project contract to Diamond Polishing Systems for $51,829.05 and provides after-the-fact ratification of the contract signed by Steve Wohld, Chief of Internal Services.
