Public Works received 7 responsive bids and 1 nonresponsive bid for this project on May 18, 2023.  Midway Underground LLC, Toledo, WA, provided the lowest responsive bid of $473,883.25.

Lewis County Public Works recommends that the contract for the Pigeon Springs Road MP 2.3 Slide Repair Project, 90-21F640220230, be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, Midway Underground, LLC.

Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance of RCW 39.04.155, a call for bids for the Pigeon Springs Road MP 2.3 Slide Repair Project, 90-21F640220230 in Lewis County was made April 27, 2023; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations were submitted on May 18, 2023, from contractors and calculated as follows:

WHEREAS, Midway Underground LLC provided the lowest responsive bid quote of $473,883.25 for the Pigeon Springs Road MP 2.3 Slide Repair Project, 90-21F640220230.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Pigeon Springs Road MP 2.3 Slide Repair Project, 90-21F640220230 in Lewis County shall be awarded to Midway Underground LLC in the amount of $473,883.25, upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
